Can anyone recommend a good, free, downloadable software for doing the neccessary basic photo-editing? TIA |

JJ try GIMP. There are a lot of people in the open source community who claim it is just about as powerful of a program as Photoshop. GIMP.org I know the name sounds horrible, but it is a good program. |

I downloaded FastStone when Photoshop would not let me reinstall it (or I could not find the CD with the software, I don't remember). Anyways, it had a pretty good rating on Downoad.com, and I have been pretty satisfied with it; so much I haven't bothered to try to reinstall Photoshop yet. |

Thanks guys!!! I looked at both and picked the FastStone only because it seemed more "Idiot-Proof". This will suit my needs perfectly. |
